Co-founders and Group Leaders, Jacob Ramsden and Tim Omi have lead groups and traveled throughout many areas of Asia, Central America, Africa, and Europe. They have worked as independent guides with other companies such as Islands Express and Bali Advisor.

When he is not exploring different ways of the world, Jacob resides in San Diego, California, an amazing place to come home to. Jake is an artist and photographer (some of his work can be found on the website above), works in the Night Club Industry, and is also a K-12 substitute teacher. Originally from a small Midwestern town on the Mississippi River in Iowa, he moved to California at 19, and since then he has been "living to travel, traveling to live".

Tim Omi

Tim was raised on planes and far off destinations. His parents first moved to Bali, Indonesia in 1974. They lived in Ubud, the art and cultural center of Bali, and Tim grew up in this atmosphere. With the love for being on the road instilled in him at a young age, Tim has traveled around the world. He has always stated that Bali is his favorite place and is like a second home to him. His in-depth knowledge of Bali and the surrounding islands ensures that every "Flowing Traveler" will experience the most pristine locations during their trip.

Tim Has a B.A. in Political Sciences and extended studies in the field of Economics, from San Diego State University. Starting in 2004, Tim has lead tours to Bali, Thailand, Costa Rica and the Yucatan peninsula in Mexico for Island Express. Tim is also an avid surfer, snowboarder, hiker, and runner, and practices yoga and meditation.
